Japanese scientists have unveiled the most human-looking robot yet - a "female" android named Repliee Q1Expo
“...we have found that people forget she is an android while interacting with her. Consciously, it is easy to see that she is an android, but unconsciously, we react to the android as if she were a woman”
Professor Ishiguro believes that it may prove possible to build an android that could pass for a human, if only for a brief period.

WTF?
Why in the world would we ever need a robot that looks and feels human?
Some scientists have no clarity of vision...
What would we ever need a humanly disguised robot (I'm reffering to benefits, not spies, sex dolls and god knows what other uses...)???
This is all a waste of money and time if you ask. Why don't they find a cure for AIDS instead? Or anything that actualy has some use to mankind.
